I think ONLY Cosmo racing has one for the '06. Anything else 'will' work, but yeah, you'll have a cel.First make sure you have all your hoses and wires hooked up right and especially have the MAF sensor pointed in the right direction. Then unplug your battery for at least 30 min. to clear the cel and 'reboot' your ECU. After at least 30min. restart your car. Don't rev it or anything. Just let it run for 20min. Let the ECU and the CAI get aquianted (sp). Now for the the next 3-5 days, drive like a normal person (speed limit without heavy excellerations). After about the 3rd day you can drive like you normally do and try out the CAI.You have to let the car adjust to the higher air flow. You'll notice right away that it will idle at a lower rpm (500 - 800rpm). That's the engine breathing easier (it's a good thing!)If your C.E.L. comes on again you might want to have it read to make sure it really is the cai. Let us know if it does come back, we can try something else then.Good luck!

Sounds good...Got the CEL off... Engine was running lean, so i changed my oil (good idea... runs ALOT better) soaked the MAF in water.. i think this is a bad idea...but someone told me to do it.. i will prob have to get another one . but it works for now. DONT DO THAT IM NOT SURE IF IT WORKS OR NOT!!!! that oil from the filter got all over it and there is not way to get it off, but i got it real good took the negative off the battery for about 5-10 minutes, and it cleared that code out of there. (hopefully) MAN I LOVE THIS CAR. (now that i broke the engine in a little (still 2k to go before i get it UNGREEN!)

Thanks for the info... yea i guess i wasnt driving like a "normal person" when i got it i should have thought about it. I did figure out a way to install it for the 06, although no models are currentley available for the 06, it is possible. a breather filter, can be installed to the AUX intake, located on the top of the block. just use the existing line and run it out under the plastic cover. (match the color of your filter of course . Then cap off the EVAP extension, and your good to go:) the 06 doesnt have a EVAP thing on it.

As for cleaning the MAF, next time use brake cleaner spray.

yea... i just found that out, but warm water was problably the worst thing to do. but brake cleaner is a REALLY SMART idea. DUR i should have thought about brake cleaner. I have been running fine w/o CEL for about 1 day hope for the future right!

good luck! although you might not need it, with a CAI what did you do with the little T thing with the vaccum lines? I zip tied mine in the same position it would of been connected to the stock airbox to something near were it was..i am not sure if that makes sense, if i get a digital cam ill taks pics, but i hear if that thing isnt in the right position it can throw a cel.
