well the glare can be a pain but its not really that bad unless the sun is hitting the screen directly. in the winter it was aok as its always dark outside, but even now with the backlight and brighness at 99 its just fine. also having a light background skin during the day is very important, anything with a dark background just kills it. from the comments i've read and from my own experience im more than happy with the xenarc, when i took it apart to install it i noticed it had alot of toshiba and hitachi components, the screen i think was hitachi. but everything has to break, just dont wanna be the one stuck with the crappy unit hehe

im sure you can figure it out, really not too hard i am wondering one thing though, i want to replace the factory amp with an aftermarket one to avoid routing it through my head unit and the schoche adaptor. since i have the tweaters do i just need to find an amp that comes with crossovers? and about 400watt?

You need to find some new speakers too, or find amplifiers that'll handle the 2 Ohm load on the speakers. Either that or ditch the 4 channel amp and get a 2 channel that'll support 2 Ohm, and tie the front and back doors together.

i dont want to replace the speakers, they are already too loud i see no reason to blow out my eardrums just wanted to make sure that the crossover thing would work out, im not really sure how a crossover works anyway, just want to know what kind of amp will handle the tweeters. i can find a 2ohm amp though

Yes, a crossover should work. I don't know what the resistance of the tweeters are though. And 'new speakers' doesn't neccesarily mean louder. I would think any 2 Ohm amplifier you would find would be too powerful for the stock speakers anyway.

i know but theres no way to blow them out unless you constantly turn it up too loud. bout the stock speakers though im more than happy with them, no noise, no rattle, clean sound, goes louder than i will ever need .. not running them in a concert hall, just a small car thanks for the info :D
