My first post was "Will these 20's fit my Vibe?"! My name is Jason. I currently reside in San Diego as I was in the Navy, but am in the process of moving back to Dallas where I joined from as I am now out. I had a 1992 Ford Aerostar minivan, then a 1962 Cadillac Sedan deVille, then a 1958 Cadillac Sedan deVille, then a 2002 Chevrolet S-10 Xtreme, and most recently a 2004 Pontiac Vibe base that I bought and modded the **** out of since January 2004!

Ok, I'll take the bait.Name's mike, but those who know me call me fish, fishy, or fishman. Really doesn't matter to me.Currently residing in Clarksburg, NJ. Easiest landmark for reference would be Great Adventure, which is almost visible from my back yard. BLAH. For you jerseyans, exit 8 on the turnpike, 98 on the parkway, and 16 on I-195.When I joined, I had just bought an 03 base to replace me recently deceased sunfire. It was totalled in a terrifying accident and I bought the vibe almost entirely because of its safety rating. Eventually stumbled onto this site, and then the hell began. Started modding small, then grew to become the interior disassembly king. Eventually, i got the new car bug, and I'm now driving an 06 Pontiac G6 GT coupe.Sadly, the car has been in the body shop more then my driveway. I've had horrible luck with it. Not the cars fault. Just bad karma.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

This is a good idea! I'm Debi, I live with my musician boyfriend, two Dachshunds (9 year old disabled female and 5 year old male) and fuzzball of a diabetic cat. We don't have any children (yet). Kari recruited me when I asked on another board "does anybody own a Pontiac Vibe" when doing research before buying my Mom's FROSTY. I only heard great things about Vibe. We had 4 Pontiacs before this, so knew Pontiac reliability. I'm thrilled driving Mom's FROSTY until my NEPTUNE gets here (she only gets to drive FROSTY only on my days off right now) I hope to get my website up soon so I can work for myself from home (I sew and knit clothing) the Vibe will be perfect for me to haul boxes of merchandise, etc. to expos, craft shows, post office, etc. Not to mention dogs, Kids....... Mom's: FROSTY '06 with "sport package" (the monotone appearance package, Monsoon system and the more decent wheels than I'm getting) and exhaust tip. Mine: NEPTUNE '06 currently being built with Monotone appearance package, Monsoon System and the standard (UGH!!) wheel covers (you know I will be changing THAT!) and exhaust tip. (more to follow)

Ok, since I really didn't introduce myself officially, just said I was new, here it is.My name is Shay, I bought my '05 platinum vibe back on 9/15/05, which replace my '03 Ford Escape because I wanted a more economical car and wasn't happy with the break issues I was having with the escape (never buying another Ford). I joined this site on 11/10/05 after doing a search for vibe info.I became addicted to this great site like everyone else and have been posting ever since.

I'm not sure if I introduced myself or not...it's been so long ago...I don't think I ever did though. So here goes. I'm Kari (and my board name is oh-so-creative, I know ), I'm 23, and I've had my Vibe for 3 years and 8 months. I love it, and I have ever since I saw the concept drawing in GMC Directions back in 2001. It just so happened to be coming out right when the lease to my truck was up, and as soon as I saw them on the lot, I knew the Vibe was the car I wanted.I'm engaged to ColonelPanic, whom I met at the 2004 Ohio Meet, and we are getting married next summer. I'm a graduate student at Miami University of Ohio, working toward a master's degree in mass communication. I have a bachelor of science in journalism from East Tennessee State University. Why so far apart? Well, I basically have two hometowns: one in Northeast Tennessee and one here in Southwest Ohio. My mom's family lives in TN, and my dad's family lives up here, so I have family in both places and chose to attend grad school up here in Middle-of-Nowhere, Ohio. I plan to keep my Vibe for a long time, and it has super low miles so I'm hoping it will last for a long time too!

Well, I didn't do it and I'm trying to get ever so closer to mrizzle's most count...just can't get there with friggin' work and all...Anyways, I'm Bobby, 25 yr old Mechanical Engineer living in the Phoenix Metroplex in Chandler. When I joined the boards I had been lurking for awhile, but the sudden amounts of free time and cash that came with suddenly being single drew me in.Oh the times they are a changin...I bought the '04 Vibe GT new at the end of April 2005 (and because of that, I got it out the door for $16.5k). I haven't been the same since (mod fever), but I'm resolved to wait for most of the mods until the warranty is out (I'm at 28k already).I work for one of the power utilities here in Phoenix, so I know most of you will hate me forever as a result of your power bills (except for those with plenty of water in the TVA service area). And, I'm no longer single, having found the love of my life. Amazingly enough, I found the only sould brave enough to date an engineer is indeed another engineer. As my name indicates, I am a twin, identical, and have a younger brother who is motorsport heaver. He posts on here once in a great while as mr2turbo07.

Hi my name is Richard. As far as I know I am the "oldest active" member here. I joined when we had like fifty members. And the funny thing is that I am still not a genvibe god, well because I don't post to much, but I'm always here. So anyway, I am 28 years old happily married for more than 4 years with my wife Anita, who I met on the net. I bought my Vibe in 2002, but traded in for a Torrent 4 months ago. Well at least I stayed in the family.

I have no idea if I introduced myself. It was 4 years ago and I used my real name at that time. Anyway I think I found this site through google when researching the Vibe in 2002. I live/work in Ottawa with my hubby whome I've been with for 8 years, and our two kids, I mean cats, Odi and Yoda. I'm sure there are more pics of my cats than my car on this board. My car is named Sputnik. Its a lease, soon to be mine (in August). I have done NO mods to it unless you count winter tires and a personalized plate. I've had my Vibe since I was 26 (I'm now FAST approaching 30 on the 10th of July! )

Im Andrew and am in the Army...bought my 03 Vibe while stationed at Fort lewis, WA but now reside in Alexandria, VA where I am stationed at Fort Belvoir. My wife was driving the Vibe and I was driving my 73 Ford Bronco. She got a new Mazda 3 a month or so ago so now I am driving the Vibe as a daily driver and the Bronco is for fun.

I have no idea if I introduced myself or not.Let's see ... I was one of the first females on the board - it felt like it was just Sputnik & I for quite a while! I've been married for almost 2 years, and we're expecting our first baby any day now (official due date is somewhere between July 5 & 12, depending on who you believe). Before I went on maternity leave, I was the facility manager for a hazardous waste treatment plant. Yum, toxic waste. I'm an engineer by training, as is my husband (so, I'd say engineertwin2 is right).I bought my 2003 Vibe in July 2002, and knew way more about it than the dealership did. This turned out to be a good/scary thing, because I've had some catalytic converter issues with my car that have driven my Service Manager to drink more than he ought to.The Vibe was going to get traded off this fall, but once we realized we were expecting, I decided to keep it (it'll be paid off this winter) and I'll trade in when I'm back at work next summer. Gotta love Canada and our 1 year maternity leave!
