is it possible to covert the rear drum to disk brakes ?

just curious if this is possible ? if so, what all would be involved ? would there be any real benefit ?bobI did a search (drum to disk) and didn't find anything

This has been extensively discussed before.Yes, anything CAN be done with enough money. But the cost would be significant, and there is NO major benefit or reason for doing it.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

There is a Gentleman on Matrixowners.com that has done it to his TRIX.. he found a Donor Car at a scrapyard and did it himself in 1 day.. it is possible.. looks really good.. and he says the braking has significantly improved.. go there and ask questions

I think it would be more for appearance then performance. At least from my stand point. Or if I needed a big heavy brake rotor system for racing, which I don't.

I've seriously considered doing this after some @#$#@$ dumb person in a merc. benz pulled out in front of me the other day on a cell phone not even looking!! and my brakes did ok but deff. could of been better. oh yea...then later down the road he ran a red light.....intresting.
