you will get used to the armrest. I just drive with my left hand most of the time. If it does bug you figure a pillow or maybe one of those gel pads off a mouse pad..

I find myself resting my elbow on the window sill even with the window closed. I find it is more comfortable there for me. Just a thought.

I'm sure I would get used to it all in time; just the things that kinda hit me today...Like I said, my Dakota has spolied me in plushness and stuff, except for the FACT that it's a really thirsty truck, and I've driven trucks for the past 10+ years, so changing over to something like this is really gonna ((pretty sure it's gonna happen if I can get my (removed) to decide on a color "Stealth/Salsa/Neptune"and how much I like the Monsoon speaker system)) take some getting used to...
2006 Stealth ...Drove off the lot on 7-17-06..Only add ons are the pinstriping, perddy dark tinted windows (20 on the back and 30 on the front I think), and now the Weathertech bug deflector....Thanx for an awesome site and fantastic folks !

I just got used to the armrest, but like BC, I also rest my arm on the window sill even when the windows are up when I find myself driving with the right hand. I think you will like the Monsoon system.

Thanx a bunch.....Again, guess I've been spoiled for a while and would definitely have to get used to it..But wouldn't feel as guilty putting my foot to the floor either or watching the gas needle move...Just now still gotta decide on Stealth w/o Monsoon ((the one I drove today)) or Neptune or Salsa with Monsoon..The 2nd two I'll see manana...

So y'all guarantee I'll get used to that low armrest, right ?? Dealer offered me ((over the phone,so...we'll see tomorrow)) what I wanted for my truck (payoff) and $16000 plus TTL for theirs..Stealth with A/T, preferred package, and monotone..Sticker is $19050 so hoping that's good..Wish me luck tomorrow. Really love this site and wana become a regular poster, so getting one would be the best way I figger..ha ha...............Just scared I'll miss the "plushness" of the truck on long trips and stuff.....Thanx folks !!

That sounds like an OK deal to me... You may get used to the low armrest. If not, you can always swap out the armrest with the '03-'04 version which will be taller. I actually did the opposite, I went to the new low armrest and preferred it that way, but I'm weird like that. Good luck to you!

I'm sure I I will get used to it Colonel, but I guess my "real" concern is just trading in my truck, which I love dangitt, for what some might consider an econobox...I'm definitely NOT saying that's what it is; it's just scaring the hell outta me considering it could happen as soon as noonish today..Just so dang spoiled with the "plushness" and crud of my Dakota and stuff....It's been great to me except for the $75 or so per week in gas, and that's the BIGGIE !!! Signed the papers last night and they were supposed to have gotten it today from Ft Worth (they sold the one here), but apparently we did things too late so they promised it tomorrow...I did request they put the 30 tint on front and 20 everywhere else and they said they'll do it after they detail it out...Yea, I'm paying $150 for it but that's ok..Got them to give me payoff for my (now) 14mpg Dakota and sel lme theirs for 16000 even.....And I plan on getting the splash guards and seatback holder tomorrow just so I'll have 3yr/36k for them as well....I'm excited folks !!!! Thanx for the help and YES, I'll post pics, trust me !!!!!

Congrats! The price on the tint isn't that bad, that's almost what I paid for mine when I had it done, so as long as they do a good job you paid a decent amount, IMO. Good call on the splash guards too, those will come in handy. Glad to have you with us. Don't worry, you'll eventually get used to being downsized. Especially when you fill the tank. So what if the masses view your car as an econobox, the fact remains that the modern econobox doesn't make one suffer as much as their ancestors did. Downsizing for me was an option that ended up making me feel much better about my decision as well. Good luck with the thing! Looking forward to seein' ya around.

Just got off work and hoping them folks will call me around noon-3pm central time so's I can go pick up my new Stealth Bomber...Haven't come up with a nickname yet, but hell, haven't driven it yet, so guess that's ok huh ??ha haThanx for the positive feedback Colonel. I think just having this site and you folks in here is probably 50% of the reason I went for this car versus some of the others (Caliber, PT, and Mazda3), and the other 50% is just 'cause I honestly liked it better than those others when it came to the "total package"......Just hope everything works out today and I get me a new car...Will let ya know later...

You will have to post them on a site like http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.imageshack.usThen paste the image links created through the site to to your post here. The image links should start with "[img]" and end with "[/img]" tags.

Thanx a million and will prob wait until tomorrow or Tuesday to do it but need the help....If you've saved your pics on your computer, you can attach an image file to your post. See the following section below the text box:================================Just click the "Browse..." button, select the image file then post your message. If you want to go back and actually have the image display in your message, click on the image link in your message, copy the address of the image (in the Address bar in Internet Explorer). Go back and edit your message, paste the address you copied in your message and then add [IMG] and [/IMG] tags around the address. That's exactly how I got the screenshot to appear above. You'll still see a link, but it's a quick way to embed images from your computer.
