New Vibe owner

Post by yoshi64 »

To begin this is my first post. I just recently bought a Base 04 Fusion. My car i had before this was a 2000 Toyota Celica GT. I really liked my celica, but i needed more cargo room, plus i was tired of 2dr's. So i look at the Vibe cause it sorta made sense to me cause it had my old celica engine in it. I have been a looking at this site for awhile and i really like the layout and the people seem to know what they are talking about. so i decied to post to say hello and i hope to start moding soon.P.S. Posted a pic of me and my celica (RIP)

Welcome to GenVibe! A wealth of knowledge, here you will find.I'm assuming you were on http://www.newcelica.org as well?I love the fusion color Vibe's.When you start looking to do mods, the Vibe Base is the same as the Matrix XR. Luckily you have an '04 with the cable throttle so you will not have any problem finding an intake for it.Congrats and enjoy your stay!

Thanks, i really loved my celica (thats a pic just after i bought it). I had pictures of it modded out, but due to a HDD failure i don't anymore. Yes, i will be posting some pix of my new purchase. I had really learned a lot from newcelica.org but never posted. I installed SilverStar lighting in my vibe, but i really miss my celica's projectors.

Congrats on the new car. Friend's girlfriend has a sweet lookin Celica. She's already got rims, CAI, and Borla for it. Definately sharp cars.

Well i plan on.... when i get back up to school to tint, then rims, Navigation, CAI (maybe), put my system back in( 2 JL12w3v2's, JL 1000/1). Can't decide on accent color, green (to stay with the pumpkin theme), blue, purple, red

Welcome to GenVibe!I didn't use to like Fusion all that much, but have to admit it looks better on a Vibe than a Caliber! And pinstripes, no less! Very nice.Betcha can't wait to get some new wheels for your baby, eh? I'd go with gunmetal, like Mavrik's.

You forgot to mention "lowering" your Vibe as Hope (trdvibe) mentioned, cuz our little cars tend to look like "off road vehicles" if you don't! And.. I would go with a bright blue or purple accent color.Oh yeah...if you haven't noticed, we like lots of pics!!!!!!
