Widest tire on stock rims?

Newbie needs to know the widest tire taht can be fitted to the stock 17" wheels.

I would hazard a guess that P235 or P245 would be about the widest.

I would agree with Mavrik... that's the widest I would go.

Hi...I had 235's on my 17x7 wheels... I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe 225 at the most, unless you're planning on upgrading relatively soon. My tires just dind't feel right. Somewhat soft in turns. I later upgraded to 17x8's and the tires were fine.Dave
