Lighter outlet to Cigarette lighter conversion Help needed

I have the standard cigarette outlet in my dash console of my Matrix, but I would like to convert it to a cigarette lighter. Does anyone have any idea how this can be done? Currently, every replacement cigarette lighter I have purchased will not stay in when pushed in.Figures-

im not quite sure what your asking...i dont get the trying to convert the standard cig oulet to a cig lighter part.are you looking for a replacement lighter?

Have you tried a Toyota dealer for the lighter. It may work that way as a safety feature.

What is happening is that there is a black protective barrier preventing the lighter from touching the element. I'll have to buy a replacement lighter through toyota. Thanks for the help all-
