There has recently been some talk about an Invidia Exhaust system, and I just started wondering which exhaust has been most popular? I also wanted to know which ones people seem to like the most and if there were any complaints about any.-thanks
I kind of figured that, lol. Is there a reason that it so much more popular than the others though? Does it sound better? or does it just perform better?

I have the magna... its really nice not too loud but can get attention. its a clean stock look too. performance is good too.I will eventually get a high flow cat to replace the stock and make it lil louder.

My parents don't want me to get an exhaust because they think that the only kind out there are like those riced out civic's with loud as **** fart cans.
Another thing is the magnaflow you can get the FULL cat back system through them, not just the muffler. I think alot of them are just the muffler...but im already sold on the magnaflow since the vibes purchase sounds good and performance gains seem to be the best.

Would have been curious too see and hear a Borla but Magnaflow is a safe bets!
I too was curious about the Borla, just because it's a more common name than magnaflow I would say. Or at least I see it more in advertisements. But like you said it sounds like the Magnaflow is a safe bet for what I'm looking for.
The Skunk2 and the Greddy, I believe, are only for the GT. There is a difference between the base and GT systems; use the search function if you need to find the thread buried somewhere on GenVibe that has that difference detailed. That would explain why their numbers would be low. Perhaps the reason no one has either is because, like you, people here just don't want fart cannons (too much class ).
I'd suggest the Borla, its a nice setup with great gains. Magnaflow is as popular as it is because its cheap. They make good systems, I ran magnaflow on my truck but it sounds like stock exhaust on the vibe.edit: don't type when you' been drinking.

Quote, originally posted by tcam »huh?I had to edit my post, lot of typos. Magnaflow is the cheaper of the 2. you cna get Magnaflow for $5-600 and Borla is around $780, atleast thats what shops here price them at. I do remember Magnaflow being the more expensive at $900 then it dropped dramatically

lol, typing drunk. tisk tisk. jk.Are you referring to cat-back exhausts, because I have seen those listed everywher for just over $400. You're proably talking about a full exhaust. Or at least I think you are?
Quote, originally posted by tangerine »Magnaflow is as popular as it is because its cheap. Actually, its because the Borla is an axle-back system. The magnaflow posted a better dyno chart than the Borla also.Quote, originally posted by tangerine »They make good systems, I ran magnaflow on my truck but it sounds like stock exhaust on the vibe.Sounds like stock??? What are you talking about? Anyone that has ever heard a Magnaflow is going to disagree with you on that.Everyone likes the Magnaflow beause it has a great sound, looks good, performs well and is not over-priced.
Well, the people that actually own Vibes and own a Magnaflow system will all tell you that it does not sound stock, especially the GT. Have you ever heard a GT hit lift with the Magnaflow?
I'm running the Magnaflow cat-back system in conjunction with a K&N short ram intake, and these are the only engine performance mods I have done, and am very pleased with the results. For more pictures, install information, and dyno runs on the Magnaflow, click here: http://www.speed-society.com/f...2.php.
