Post by jvibegirl »

Hello, Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been looking at the vibes for around a year. I just sold my car and on monday bought a 2003 Black Vibe. Its not a GT or anything, but its got the moons n tunes package. Its nice. Im finally driving a car I love!Im looking to put new rims on it soon, it comes with just the wheel caps and i dont love that look Anyway im hoping to get lots of suggestions here, looks like a great site. tinted windows would look great!! Plus it helps keep the tem down in the summer!!My Vibe had factory steel with covers and then the mod bug bit me. Now I have 2 sets of rims-- summer and winter.

I was thinking about getting some rims and keeping the steel ones for the winter. I was also thinking of upgrading to 17's when i get rims. Not sure yet. What do you think of putting a black/grey rim on? Tint is also a must!northvibe, that mr. grille is sweet....

17" summer rims on P225/45R17 tires would be nice on that car. I would suggest getting rims with a mix of gunmetal and chrome or black and chrome. And nice light ones to so they don't make the car seem sluggish with them on. I have gunmetal and chrome on my orange base Vibe and you can see pics of it on stock suspension and then lowered suspension in my car domain page (link in sig)Tint those windows to.

Welcome to GenVibe! Congrats on your new(used) Vibe! A 35% tint all around would look great on your Vibe.A nice set of wheels/tires once your current tires are shot. Then you can put a set of snows on your steelies for winter.Grafxwerks overlays are always a hit! If you get really ambitious you could also lower it a couple inches.Enjoy your stay here on Fantasy Island. Tatoo: "Look Boss, The Vibe! The Vibe!" Boss: Oh, Tatoo!

welcome! great seeing more chicks involved here! first, TINT! 20% all around if you can... would look great! and i would go with a black rim with polished lip or something like my ADR phantoms or konig unknowns.... polished with black- 17's for sure! DROP the vibe and get rid of the wheel gap. the 3 piece MR Billet grille would accentuate those rims. then go for a cai and maybe an exhaust! ADR PhantomsKonig UnknownsKonig Beyonds

Welcome to genvibes. There are a few of us female members here. Tint is definitely something to have. I like the look of chrome or gunmetal on the darker vibes, but it is all a personal choice. You gotta get what you like. Check out tirerack.com for tires if you want to upgrade to 17s or 18s. You will definitely find this site very useful.
