Ok I was looking at the interior shots of most of your vibes and noticed that your guages have the white and them. I really like them... plus mine is all red and I think I need a little something diffrent. But my question is..... Is there a way for me to buy a new guage cluster or is it a cover and put it on my car cause it looks really nice. Any one have a clue if its possible. I'm pretty sure it is just dont know what I am getting myself into you know? thanx
kind of thought so... you know how much that runs for???? and I 've take off just the front piece but never the whole cluster would that be the only thing I would have to take off or would the whole dash need to be take off??
I've seen some clusters on ebay. it would just be a matter of disassembling the cluster down to the face plate on both clusters and reassemble with switched face plates. IF everything is in the sameplace in the cluster (which i assume it would be)

Below is a thread about joatmon changing the odo reading of the new gauge:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=19177

to get the white lights you'd need to replace the cluster, or replace the faceplates and the lights in the cluster, since the lights in the 03 cluster emit red/orange light. The lights are soldered onto a circuit board, I don't know of a source for replacements, or if they are LEDs or some thing else. The clusters changed somewhat in 05, so you'd want an 04. The clusters are also different between US and Canada, and between base and GT. The mechanics of removing and re-installing the cluster is pretty straightforward.- yank off the trim rings- undo the one screw at the top of the cluster- unhook the clips on either side of the bottom of the cluster- jockey the thing around until you can unhook the electrical connectorwhen putting it all back together, make sure you feed the trip meter button through the trim rings.
