yea I'v got enough sense to not go overboard (I hope). Everyone keeps telling me if I'm not puking I'm not celebrating. I think a 6pack will do me just fine, and I'm not leavin the house. If they want me to drink they can lock my keys up and do it at home.

I think one can do plenty of celebrating without puking, personally... In fact I would venture to say that since puking is not fun, it really isn't celebrating at all and the less one pukes, the better!

lol its not my friends, its my dad, my uncle and older brother. Main reason I don't want to drink is I still take 4 types of medication from my accident and surgeries and no way do those need to be mixed.

Nope, especially not if you're taking a narcotic painkiller of any kind...that can make you pass out and never wake up again. So I would hope that they would understand, in light of that, the fact that you don't really want to die, so thus, you don't want to drink. Edit: So I'm an elder now? Nice! LOL

I'm on: Flexoril-Muscle relaxersTramadol and Lorocet for pain because I had to have surgery on my spine for the 3rd time 3 and a half weeks agoan anti-inflamitoryand an antibiotic for 30 days.I never realized how bad off my back was after my accident until ime hit and it began to get worse and worse and now even after the surgeries the pain is so bad I can't even lift a bag of trash. Last surgery I had they ended up burning another series of nerves out off of the spine in the mid-thurasic. I feel taking this medicing for 11 months is going to have bad side effects so I tried to stop taking them, I was fine till the pain hit and I was almost in tears but the pain killers dont help much more anyways so I told the doctor I'm not getting refills. The muscle relaxers help, I can't even lay down flat unlesss I take them and they said I may end up having to take them for the rest of my life. I never shoulda walked away from that ****, lost so much that day.

bleh, puking is bad. why do that? it's not fun! a little buzz is fun and still a good time without a major hangover the next morning. i've only ever puked maybe twice.... once from celebrating my divorce (to the ex of course) and the second.... i'm not sure, cause i don't remember much of that evening. loleither way, i was hurting very very very badly the next couple days. and that sucked! ever heard that Offspring song "the worst hangover"? funny as hell! this reminds me of it... happy birthday and don't be too silly. or bad things will happen! especially since you already have so many health issues, why add more?

well you'll get a big CONGRATS from me. 21 is a starting milestone your an adult now (for me it was 18 back then). time to enjoy all the big kid games and responsibility. so go pop open that 1 Miller and enjoy high life. just 1 though.

My diagnosis was a severely buldged disk in the lumbar#5, 3 ruptured spacers in my mid thurasic and 2 places had crushed nerves from impact. I'm supposed to take 2 of my pain pills and a muscle relaxer every 4 hours but I only take them when my pain is at its prime once a day. They said my back is permenantly damaged and I'm gonna have to live with it this way from now on since none of the physical therapy or surgeries ddi any good.

this doctor was my final stop. I saw my 1st doctor for my back last september, then he sent me to a physical medicine/sports medicine doctor who did a Steroid Epedural in my spine and it flamed my back up worse making me cancel physical therapy, and my physical therapist, risking his job if anyone found out that he gave me a name to a doctor not related to them he coulda been fired gave me the name of a world renoun neuro-surgeon from Iran that has made his way around the US known as doctor Rahman who now has an ofice in Springfield, Mo and i got in to see him, and after looking at my MRI's for 10 minutes pointed out that not only was my spine pushed inward, but what alot of the doctors seems to have missesd is taht accroding to the Xray and MRI my spine was pushed down pressing against nerves so he sent me to his accosiates at the local hospital to get setup for a phaset(sp) injection to 1st see if burning the nerves would help. When they did that I immediately felt releif but that only lasted a week, then we discussed what he called burning the nerve, they stuck 9 rods in my spine with electric current runnign through them while I was awake duplicating my pain, if they didn't trigger it they had to pull them out and place them in a different spot(mucho pain) then once they found the spot they sent searing hot needles into the spine burning the series of nerves out. They said the nerves could regrow in a month, and they could regrow in a year and its been a lil over a year since that phase and the pain is already back there, and worse.
