Down to one Vibe

Post by djb383 »

Traded my '05 Salsa Vibe today for a '06 Saturn Vue V6. I really like my Vibe (still have one) and my only concern is its trailer towing capability. The Vue is rated to tow 3500 lbs and has strong acceleration w/20 city and 28 hwy mpg, if you behave yourself. The Vibe moon and tunes system has more kick than the Vue sun and sound system but I do like the extra room in the Vue. They are two different vehicles and I really like them both. I hope the Vue is as reliable as the Vibe.

Congrats! I take it the V6 isn't GM's 3400 seeing the fuel economy numbers. Is that still that Honda engine?I haven't driven a Vue, so I can't say but if it is similar to its platform mates like the Torrent, that's gotta be a nice ride. Enjoy it man!

From what I've read, it's the 3.5L V6 with 5 speed automatic, both by Honda. 250 hp & 242 torque

One other thing, the ScanGauge went from the Vibe to the Vue without a glitch and the Vue has a 180F t-stat just like the Vibe.
