Should I take her to the show?

Post by Lancer »

Dropfest is now only 2 weeks away. It's one of the biggest carshows in Wisconsin that takes place at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kakauna (only 10min. away). There's plenty of cars for all tastes, live music (ussually big names like Ying yang Twins), bikini contest, drag races, car dance off and hopping, cycle tricks, cruising around the circle track, and a burn-out contest. Sorta like Nopi but smaller.Anyway, I've been hoping that my car would be painted and a body kit installed by then so I could be at least a little competetive in showing. But I had to rearrange my funds since I'm getting my tranny finally fixed. They do have a "UnderConstruction Car" class that I was thinking about entering. And if the tranny IS fixed by then I can enter in the drags and shut everybody up that snickers at my Vibe. What's everybodys take on my car? Think it's ready for a big show or wait until next year and blow thier minds? Here's a link to ALL the action (rated PG-13 )http://www.electrikfusion.com/....html

Thank's everyone for your vote of confidence! I just wanted a little more show before I unveiled her. And I'm pretty sure there wont be many if any other Vibes there. I guess I don't call her the 'rare bird' for nothing. I'm not expecting or even planning on wining anything, I just want to be a part of the whole festival. You can bet that if my tranny is fixed by then I'll be racing! Last year there were only 3-4, four cylinder cars (that's how they put you in your class) that werein the 14's and below. Even an EVO barely got into the 14's! As long as I don't get pitted against one of the DSM's that won last year (11 sec. street car!) I should do alright. I don't plan on winning that either, just suprising a lot of people.

Go to the show man. I would. You have (no offence to other two tone Vibes) one of the nicest looking ones I've seen.
