I'd love to see the vid, but it states it is being optimized and to check back in a few minutes.

It's working now. Ha, Ha. The first 2/3's of the video is of your camera man walking and waiting for you in the dark. lol.Sounds good, Northvibe!

Only when the engine is cold. After it warmed up, I could barely hear mine at idle.

my favorite sound is when your driving in the lower rpms and you tap the gas just enough to make the CAI sound like a turbo! that "ksh" sound... dont know how to describe it... but i love it.

Sounds awesome! Mine def makes the sucking sound when cold, and as far as I can recall (been over a week since I've driven it! ) made it all the time, just louder cold. Good to see you went with the TRD.

hahhahha @ damronjr and trdvibeyea i think damronjr and/or lancer recommened to me the TRD intake over the others if you wanted the SC the vibe so i went with that.trdvibe - yea my needle is already dropping in front of my eyes just driving to Target but on the noise getting there!

yesterday, out at the tracks, i went through a half tank of gas and a half bottle of torco. 13 runs in! :D was fun. so i'm sure you'll have lots of fun with your new intake! of course, i always recommended the TRD parts anyways.

can't help it. they are made to work best with other TRD parts. since you are going to look at the S/C.

Cool video. Here's a lame question. First of all where did you purchase your TRD CAI (that wasn't the lame one). Are all the CAI this loud? I've been eyeing the Injen but as this is our everyday car not just a race car I don't want something that you'll get sick of hearing on a 13 hour trip.

cai all make a louder sound. but on a long drive, you're not gonna hear it unless you are constantly pressing and releasing the gas. it's like an exhaust, when you give it gas it's loud. when you lay off the gas, it's just... normal? it'll still idle louder than stock, but it's not bad. you get used to it.

03frostygt - I bought mine used from someone off of matrixowners.com , only problem was i am missing a rubber mounting screw, which ill have to find somewhere...They are loud when go WOT (wide open throttle) id say its the loudest over 4k rpms. when just cruising at highway or city speeds i dont even hear it, heck i think my cars still stock
