Does anyone know why the GM Performance Supercharger can't be used on the GT?

Intake manifold is different, GT has too high a compression ratio. Turbo available at: http://www.turbokits.com/matrix_turbo_kits.htmlWay more HP than a supercharger. 245-270 HP.

Greddy makes a SC for the celica GTS which is a 2zz engine, so in the future there might be one for the vibe GT and matrix xrs. someone on MO.com is actually trying to install one.

Well I ask Jeff Strauser (the Vibe Product brand manager) back during the 2 Michigan meet, When we were getting are superchargers and he said the tried and blew up 3 $10K 2ZZ engines and they rename it to the Glass engine for more then one reason.But if you think about what can you really do, to are factory high compression ratio engines.Without some major engine work, you might still have some serious issue's with the cylinders if you fixed the rest.I would love to have a turbo or at least a supercharger. But it has been tried a few times by other companys and for some reason they don't get to far. There always a lot of promises,and a few kits that are for sale but think about it KA--BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It aint going to happen or only at your expense, when your replacing your 2ZZGE.

there are a few successful (still relatively early) turbo's on the 2zz. however, i'm still waiting to see how they last due to such a high compression ratio.
