HAHA!That's right baby.My mom and I went in together and bought my dad a new SkyFi 2 and a prepaid one year XM subscription for his birthday. When he asked where he had to go to install it, I said "back about 10 feet down the driveway and throw it in park." He had the look of fear on his face...BUT...amazingly, he trusts me to do it. SOOO, tonight, I get to tear into the dash of his G6 for the skyfi install...Stay tuned for pics, and the post-game wrap-up!

Quote, originally posted by northvibe »hey what kind of mount is that reciever thingy on? i need to mount a lcd and need some idea's. the visor is sill the primary spot atm.it's the dash mount that came with the car installation kit for the skyfi. it's also the same mount i use for my cell phone now. I don't have any pics yet (i'll get soem later), but basically there's a little nub on the mount that would slide into the back of the skyfi. i dremeled it off, and made it flush, and attached my cell phone mount.you can buy just the mount at http://www.xmfanstore.com if you think it might work for you.
