I want to change out my speakers but retain the factory wiring,as my Vibe is leased. What are the color schemes for each speaker:exampleFront Right, what color is Positive(+) and Negative(-) if someone could tell me for each speaker as my dealer wont give me the schematic!Or is there anyway to measure speaker output and determine Positive and negative that way!!
Cut two pices of wire to a few inches long each. Disconnect each of the speakers. Touch one end of each of the wires to one of the speaker terminals. Touch the end of one of the wires to the positive end of the battery and the other to the negative. If the woofer pushes out, the wires match the battery poles. If the speaker sucks in, they are reveresed. I don't think the stock speakers show which terminal is which.Changing the speakers may require drilling.

If you have moon & tunes, a diagram can be found here: http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...o.gifYou could also use a digital multimeter and put the leads on the speaker terminals... Play the radio and you'll see a fluctuating voltage. If you're seeing a positive voltage amount, you know that whatever terminal your positive lead is connected to is in fact positive. If you're seeing a negative voltage, you'll know whatever your meter's positive lead is connected to is the negative terminal.
