Just bought a vibe!!!

Post by danegerous »

Hey guys, just got off the phone with the salesman, I got it! A 2006 base in Moonstone with the monotone, premium and the sound and sun packages. Sticker was $19,858 and I said I wanted it out the door for $19,000 but he showed me invoice and it was $19,380. So...I walked out. Then I called back like the little Vibe-head that I am and said I wanted the exact one with anti-lock brakes and side airbags. He looked in a 200 mile radius and found none. Then today his manager's manager said, "Why didn't you make that deal" to the salesman. He answered, "Because he wanted it at $19,000 out the door and that's $1,500 below invoice" (after tax, title and doc). Then his boss said, "Call him back and give it to him!" WOO HOO! $2250 off sticker! yippee! Thats enough for my rims and body kit...mmmok, sorry, im just excited and new to the forums.

Oh...and danegerous: if you want to make your links work, you have to do this: around your website addresses you post. Second, check out the "search" option on the subjects your interested in (i.e. ground effects, supercharger, etc...), and you will find a "plethora" of info already posted on these subjects, which should answer most questions you have. If not, then post your questions, and several members will come to the rescue and give their insight based on experiences they've had. That's what's really cool about this little family of Vibe members here!

Welcome to the Encyclopedia of Vibe!Congrats on the purchase and the tough negotiations. 'Dealer Invoice' is not true dealer cost anyway, with holdbacks and incentives. Not to rain on your parade, but as I understand it the supercharger is for 2003 & 2004 models only, and doesn't work on the DBW (Drive-By-Wire) 2005 & 2006 models with no mechanical throttle cable.

Good afternoon sir.I forgot there were '06 Vibes out now (removed)...mines an old woman! She'll be 4 years old in July! Excelent cars. Not one problem with the car that wasn't my own fault besides the 3 stereos I have been through, so rest assured on a well invested $19,000.

well with the body kits all of em should fit every vibe out there but with the s/c its only fits 03-04 vibes and very few 05 vibes, but it surely does not fit the 06 vibes at all.
