H8er cop!

Spending the day taking my family to a 5y/o's birthday party in my home town. About an hour away. Not in any kind of rush and only going 70-75 on the interstate following behind a blue ford contour that just had to be infront of me. so I'm just about to my exit in Fon du lac and I see this black unmarked cop sitting in the meadian. The blue contour dives into the right lane traffic knowing he was speeding. I know I wasn't and just continue on, I got less then 2 miles to my exit. I check my mirror and you guessed it, here comes the cop. Thinking he's going after the ford I don't get too excited and find a spot in traffic I can move over to my exit. Next thin I know he's right on my azz in the left lane, then he get's behind me and Bam, red and blue cherries! (removed)!!I wake my wife up and tell her we're pulled over and she tells me if the cop askes that my 4y/o is really 5 (WI JUST past a law replacing the 5y/o have to be in a booster to ANYONE under 95lbs has to be in one?) But the cop walks up and says that the reason he pulled me over (on a buisy interstate highway!) was that he 1.)thought my tint was too dark. 2.)My exhaust was loud (driving 70mph on a interstate highway). 3.)He couldn't tell what state my liscense plate was cause he thought it was too worn away. ((removed)!? We're not in Cali!)I was pissed and was starting to argue with him but my wife kept sqeezing my arm to stop. He had the nerv to say that my car was even too loud when idling on the side of the road! Then he whipped out the 'NEW" tint tester and it told him that I was at 11% and I should be at 50%. I told him they are 20% and no way at 11%!! But he's got the badge and the gun so the judge would believe him I guess.He went back to do the ussual background check and paperwork and when he came back all he gave me was a written warning and seemed to be in a hurry to get going, so I stopped him and started asking him more and more stupid questions just to delay him and make myself feel better for this stupid unnessisary stop when he could of had a speeder. I can understand a city cop pulling me over (and they have) for these minor things, but a state trooper out in the middle of nowhere!? What, is my exhaust going to bother the cows!?? And it's no where near as loud as any motercycle, semi, or muscle car. but do the cops ever pull them over? No way! Sorry, Now I'm venting.My wife had a theory and I have to agree, that the cop wasn't expecting a middle 30y/o white guy with a family in my car looking the way it does.

Well thats exactly it! hes like yeah some punk kid is in for a treat.... then hes like... "OH" well your still too loud and yadi yadi. well thats wat furiates me. They pull us over cuz were punk kids who like to race and speed all over. but some of us (me) just like to look good in there car. i mean i drive it all the time so might as well look good!Sorry about your encounter but, at least you didnt get some stupid fix it ticket and have to fight that.

Sucks, I think I got off on that one too once. I was flying onto the freeway about 75mph (in a 65mph) and a bike cop pulled up next to me, saw my wife and kid, gave a me the look of death, and I shrugged my shoulders and let off the gas and he just kept going.

Yea cops / state troopers can be dumb and they do pull over "fast" looking and modded cars but because. at least you only got a warning, tickets suck

Sucks bad! I have been there too! On my first car got pulled over for tint and the cop got out the tint meter. I went to court to fight it and ended up getting the fine reduced by $10. I did not have to remove the tint just pay the fine and never drive into that little town again.

lol banned from a town eh?Yeah it sucks with the profiling that happens these days. Because of the actions of some, we all suffer.
