I am really interested in purchasing a new, base model VIBE. I test drove one yesterday and was impressed. I am looking for a base model, auto transmission without the power package. Yes, I said without. Anyways, I was quoted $14,900 before TTL. It would be about $15,800 out the door. This price includes a Conquest Rebate, Factory rebate and some other rebate totalling $2000. I believe it works out to about $150 over invoice (minus the incentives). Personally, I think it's a fair deal.
since were in the middle of 06... i say go for it. my fiance bought her 06 with power everything and tunes... and it came out to like 19,000 or so out the door.and for basic thats pretty good.WELCOME TO THE SITEand good luck
Must resist.... V... Tec.... Temptation... to strong... "WARNING: Genvibe is a very addictive website... constant use can result in car modification and a lowering of your bank account. use with extreme caution!http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2298639
for a BRAND new vibe thats a pretty good deal. but no power locks?! unless you know forsure you dont need them, they do come in very handy. just sucks to reach back and unlock doors :/Welcome to the site!
Sounds great but you didn't give all the details. When buying a car I suggest you know exactly what is going on.Factory rebate is $500, conquest is? ...and some other rebate?I look and sticker price 1st and negogiate that down about $1000Then I use the discounts. Overall the price is good but how you get to that number is what's really important. What is the Sticker price? conquest and other rebate? And what is the other rebate? Is that your GM credit card rebate? Also don't spend money in the finance office-you're buying a reliable vehicle so you don't need an extended warranty or protectant and sealant!Good luck and welcome aboard!
Invoice - Rebates = $16834The sum of all rebates = $2000So $14834 would be the invoice with rebates.MSRP = $17840This is the figure I am working off of for the Vibe. I think $4000 off invoice is pretty decent, but I am asking for advice because I simply do not know for sure.
If MSRP is $17,840, rebates $2000, and price is $14,834, then they are selling to you at $16,834. GM employee price would be close to $16k, so they may be pricing close to the GM in the Drive price, which is GM employee + 5%. Ask the dealer what the price would be with GM in the Drive, and I can get you a certificate if you need one.
I ordered my Neptune base WITHOUT the power package too, to keep the price down and repairs on window motors on all 4 doors later...more than likely AFTER the warranty is up! I can crank my own windows and lock my own doors-sound system is more of a priority for me. I had to refinance my house just to get the cash for this car, and after consolidating debts, there was not a lot of price range to work within, so I had to order what was right for me.You will love owning a Vibe! P.S.: that's a very good price!
i too have no power group all manual it sucks but i can do with out pwoer windows/locks for a while. i got my vibe which is the very bottom of the line with absolutly no options but cd and auto, but thats it. we got it for about 12000 from 17875 it was a great sell.
