installing GPS tomorrow, reverse indicator location?

installing a kenwood GPS tomorrow and need a reverse indictor so the gps knows when i am going backwards, should i decide to go backwards whilst being navigated.anybody know an easy place to get that in the inside or do i need to go to the reverse lights in teh back?

I know where it is if you had the Nav system Not sure where you can get it other than the reverse lights, but then I don't have a book on the car.

i agree with jahntassa. the reverse light is a good place to start. there should be a 2 wires that come out of the tranny near the shifter cables. (i think) you could trace them into the fire wall.

the answer is right behind the glove compartment. to the right of the ECU is a white connector with a red/blk wire coming out (pin 4 i believe) which goes to 11V when reverse is engaged.
