chey maybe loosing the SSR next year.Chevrolet SSR: While the idea of the SSR was a great one, lack of practically has taken a toll on the SSR’s sales. It will likely be dropped sometime in 2007.
From the article i read on the Chevy SS forums it won't be in the 07 lineup at all, but instead they are going to be adding in a $65,000 SS Yukon in late 07. Just what people want to buy with near $3.20 a gallon premium prices, a 395hp SUV...and at that price you could but the new Supercharged Rangerover.

They seem pretty popular here in anchorage. and were I lived before I saw a few as well. But other then folding down the top, throwing the clubs in the back and speed off to play a round of golf... not much use for that truck.

the only real good use for that truck was for 2 people going on a long vacation it has enough room in the trunk/bed for luggage and so forth and is able to become a convertable to coupe and back great for cusin.
Lack of practicality? I can think of a billion other cars that are way less practical than that truck, besides, I didn't think it was suposed to be practical, I considered it more of a sports car/truck rather than a daily driver. I like them.
Gm Killed that with there tactics.I was in line to buy one, then they changed the engine from a Lt1 to the 5.3Lt. and to top it off they were saying $30k to buy when it was finally released at $45k they drove the price clear out of my and many others price range. In realty I would rather have a 1 ton siveraldo with a duramax then the SSR, for the same money.Thank You GM............
