Better tires than Dunlop

Post by 03frostygt »

Nice site, just joined. Can anyone tell me if there is a more quiet (and affordable) summer tire than my current Dunlop 9000m P215/50zR1790W? Thanks.

Welcome to GenVibe!Take a look at Falken Ziex ZE-512. They are light, quiet & affordable. For best price, buy from Ebay, then get them installed locally.

The Falken's do look nice (and affordable)- preciate the tip. What do you think about Hankook's K106?

I have no experience with them or even seen them for that matter.Others on here will have more to offer on the Hankook's. Good Luck!

BFGoodrich Traction T/A's are a great All-Season tire that dont' cost too much.

I've actually got those for winter tires and you're right they are great. The local tire store suggested the Hankook's for $370. The Dunlop's have life left but I think they're cupped.
