Injen CAI & Magnaflow

Post by GormalVibe »

Ok, so here's the deal. My friend from the Injen R&D shop was by last night and he is taking my 06 Vibe GT to the Injen shop today. He is going to dyno the car before and after installing the CAI. It already has the Magnaflow installed, so it won't be a true, true reading from a non mod, but it will be close. He told me that he will bring me both dyno sheets tonight when he brings back my car. Once I get them, I will post so we can finally put this thing to rest.

well tell good ol Injen to make a nice CAI for the 05+ base models with the DBW... not cable throttle, they would sell a lot!

He actually bought me the CAI for the 03 thinking it would fit. HA... NOT!!!... So now he drove it to Injen to do all the work at the shop. If they don't have one that fits, then they will fab a new one for me. Pics to follow.

Maybe you could ask what I can do to get rid of my cel.there's your problem. you have the wrong intake. the diff b/w the 03 and 04 was some kind of valve, forget what. the 03 doesn't have it and the 04 does. your intake probably doesn't have the set up for this and that's why you're throwing a CEL.
