If you *really* want to be able to do more mods without her saying much of anything, I think I'd get her the purse she wants, or at least the closest thing to it you can find. And be sure you don't get a fake.

Try ebay--they usually have a good selection of purses, lots brand new. But yeah, definitely make sure you don't get a fake. Those are notoriously one of the most copied accessories. They are expensive but they are great quality and it'll last her forever if she takes care of it!

lol. do NOT buy her a FAKE Coach purse! sheesh! then you would never be allowed to spend mod money! i purchased a Coach purse back in 2002 in Vegas. I don't like purses, but i really really liked this one, so I went ahead and forked out the $200 for it. Still have it and i do use it. it's superb quality no doubt, but i don't know if i'd buy another and pay that kinda money for it. you can try ebay, but make sure it comes with a certificate of authenticity. mine did and was even numbered to show what # it was made out of how many. i'm sure your fiance is no dummy if she wants a COACH in particular. so she'll be looking for that authenticity certificate! good luck!

ok ok fine, get the real one, you get what you pay for :D if its from ebay make sure they have good feedback. theres actually a business in MN that rents out purses like coach and other high end ones! i read about it in the paper, so women can rent a new purse every couple months and always have a nice one.

i will seriously never understand the expensive purse thing. the only reason women want these friggin' things is because they cost so much, it's like a status symbol. most of the really pricey ones are ugly as all hell anyway. what good is having a "nice" purse if you don't have any money to keep in it because you bought the damn thing? i dunno, i guess i gave up on the whole "i want this because it's made by >" thing back in highschool.BTW, whose money pays for the mods? yours? if so, bah!

well i'm not a purse person. in fact, i detest them. i always forget them and hate having to carry one around. however, when i found this one, i really liked it so went ahead and spent the $$$. still use it. it's perfect for 2 16oz soda cans and still enough room for wallet and phone for the theater.

I don't understand the current "purse obsession" of American women either. It seems to have really boomed in the past few years, and I can't figure out why. And I can't wait for it to be *over*...because I hate purses with short straps...I want a long one so I can put it across my body like a messenger bag...and they *all* have short straps now and are ungodly expensive. I can't even find a Fossil purse I like anymore, and I used to like pretty much all of theirs. And they could be gotten for about $20 on sale. No more though...now they're like $100, because people will pay it.

Mike, I was picking up my daughter from the Y and saw a sign in someones lawn that said "Coach purse $50.00". Give me a picture and I'll go purse shopping for you. Or at least a good description. Yeah ha!!! Also, make sure you get The One that your lady likes or you'll just need to get another one. My wife "needed" a specific Fendi last year and I mean it was get the hell out of the way serious. Good luck.

Ouch!!! That means she knows exactly what she wants. You've heard "for every action there's an equal and oppisite reaction". Translation for every $ spent on a mod she needs to spend equally on something you don't understand. Your mods now have a 100% mark up.

i will never understand it either...i told becky that if she spent more than 100 dollars on a purse that could barely hold a cell phone i'd probably not talk to her for weeks, ciuz i think it's stupid...but luckily i don't have to worry about purses too much, she loves KMart and Target for those... however i do have to worry about shoes gah!!!!!

Don't know if this will help but the sign in the yard with handbags for sale has a # 513 741-4252. I'm sure it's a long shot but you asked.

I'm going to guess that the ones for sale in the yard are probably not real Coach purses either. If she's picky enough to know exactly which one she wants, she is probably picky enough to know a fake from the real thing...heh.

well i just got a speeding ticket on friday too!!! damn cops!!!So the coach purse is outta question for now... but we did compromise on her getting her bluetooth headset for her phone, and i could still get some lowering springs from damronjr. so i guess it works out.But we each got a ticket so were playing good boy and girl till we take driving school.

aw too bad. i have 3 blue tooth headsets... could have sold you one for pretty cheap. even have a new one, but can't take it back since i already ripped up the packaging. i have 2 BT phones and needed a headset that would allow me to toggle back and forth b/w the two. had my older one that i'd been using for 2 yrs and that one still works fine but won't do what i wanted. then i bought a second for the other phone that came with the Skype VOIP package. then the next day, while in Best Buy, I found a Plantronics BT headset that allows me to toggle b/w the two without having to disconnect from one phone to the other. so i have 2 other BT headsets! lol. go figure. i'll end up keeping one so phil has one when i upgrade his phone in a few months.

i'm in no way an electronics GURU. i am a gadget geek (i admit this) who likes to take things apart to see how it works and then usually has a bit of trouble putting it back together and making it all work. i just dive in as Jahntassa knows, and hope for the best. i just enjoy technology and embrace it. best buy, comp usa, they all LOVE me. I am one of their best customers.... Phil is so lucky he gets to usually have the latest (maybe not the greatest since i don't like spending all that $$$ on something that will be obsolete w/i 6 mos) in technology. if i upgrade something of my own, he gets an upgrade too (usually). when i got myself a new video ipod, he got one too. when i upgraded my phone, he.... ok, not yet, but will soon. you get the idea.but really, a Coach purse isn't that necessary. sure they are nice (and i've been using mine more often since i did spend $200 on the damn thing) but if she waits til after the wedding, she'll be able to afford a really nice one! lol
