wiring sub/speakers?

Post by happyhead »

Here's what I have hu - Kenwood Excelon KDC-X789amp - Kicker 04KX650.4 - Kicker 4 Ch. 650 Watt Amplifier I had all four speakers running off the amp but i just was given a Infinity sub . so i hooked it up to test it out and with just the front speakers and sub hooked up it sounds good. Is it possible to now hook up the rear speakers directly to the headunit? Would it sound ok? Im not interested in hooking up another amp to power the sub, that is why I ask. Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, and probably.

Hehe..sorry..not trying to be snobbish sounding. But quite honestly.. Yes, and probably! Heh. I just looked and realized that probably came out sounding 'harsh'.
