Upgrade Standard Vibe Radio (In dash 6 disc changer)

Post by DABEAR95 »

I'm interested in upgrading the stereo in my Vibe. I would like to keep the factory head unit and I want to keep things relatively cheap. My VW has a monsoon system so I added a sub and everything was perfect. However the radio in my Vibe sounds pathetic. What do you folks recommend for a noticeable increase in sound quality across the board (low, mid, high) on a budget? Thanks,Jason

All depend what you need. Adding a sub in the trunk will do a big change in the sound. You can hook up the sub with the stock spreaker if you want to keep the original head unit. Also, remplacing stock speaker is a good point too. Changing speaker will increase sound quality at all frequencies.Adding a sub will give you more bass and puch. You will be able to decrease bass volume in door spraker and it will give you less bass distortion and a cleaner sound.Adding sub and changing speakers and you gonna have a nice sound system.
