I've had my S-techs on with the stock struts for the past 30k+ miles and 2 years. I think they are still fine other than a sound in the front driver side suspension area that I can not determine the cause of. I have bottomed out a few times on some really bad unavoidable pot holes and other dips in the road. It caused a loud, hard bang and I thought the car may have been damaged, but I've inspected and found nothing wrong.
