Woah, almost lost it there!

High rate of speed + Airbags + Uneven surface = Bad Idea + Near loss of control!I was cruising down the freeway (maybe 70mph) just a couple of minutes ago (literally) to "blow dry" my water hose "carwash" when this happened. There is a piece of the freeway just a 1/2 mile from my exit in certain lanes that is really bad as far as levelness goes, and lucky me, I found it! Almost lost the car b/c it was bouncing and swaying so much thanks to the airbags. Managed to keep from hitting anything (or anyone) and got home in 1 piece, but I bet some words were said out there by the other motorists!

well at least your ok... i had lost a wheel off my cavy goin 70 MPH. in AZ on the I-10.Craziest thing ever... hit the rotor and slid about 100 yards before stopping. 1300 dollars of damage.guy who almost hit my rolling rim&tire picked it up for me.

I did something like that hitting a frost heave at about 80MPH in a fully loaded down Vibe. I was bouncing up and down, side to side. All I could do was let off the gas, no brake and just keep the car steady on the road until it recovered. Sure scared the crap out of me.

What sucked the most was that I was in the middle of the freeway so any way I went would have been just as bad!
