Post by yank dini »

Bought some for the first time yesterday after 12,000 miles so you can tell I was somewhat over due for a cleaning. I forgot how many different products there were on the shelfs. So which one do you think are the best

Why not just fill up with Chevron with Techron and pump it through all the time? Maybe there aren't Chevron Stations in your area...I'm just curious what the logic would be. I know Chevron is more expensive, but it is gasoline with better detergents. Saves me from remembering to get a $3-$4 bottle of injector cleaner. And it's usually only $0.03-0.04 more for Chevron here so that's about every 100 gallons of gas.Lets see, 100 gallons of gas @ 30 mpg comes out to be every 3000 miles. So it seems to be a wash for me...
