They are believed responsible for an alleged carjacking in Louisville. WAVE 3's Frances Kuo has the story. It all started Sunday morning here in the 1200 block of south Floyd St. where Louisville Metro Police received a call about a carjacking at 11:00 a.m.Metro police say the female victim was forced out of the car at gunpoint. About 30 minutes later, a LMPD officer then spotted the car in the Portland area.Around 12:30, Indiana State Police joined the pursuit on I-64 at mile marker 113 at the Lanesville exit. The chase then continued westbound at speeds exceeding 90 miles per hour.65 miles into Indiana at mile marker 58 in western Spencer County, state police say the car made a u-turn and headed east toward Louisville. The tire tracks left on the road at mile marker 63 indicate the spot where a state trooper from the Sellersburg post finally managed to disable the car with stop sticks. Earlier, the driver had managed to dodge four sets of stop sticks that police had placed along the its route.Even with its tires blown out, the car still manage to travel five miles further down the road into Dubois County where police caught up with the two suspects at mile marker 68.A woman in the car, was put into a police cruiser. A man, who was injured by broken glass, was taken by ambulance back to Louisville. The car that was allegedly taken in the carjacking was a Pontiac Vibe with a Georgia license plate. The identity of the suspects has not been released. The pair will likely face carjacking charges in Louisville. They may also face charges in Indiana. That determination will be made by the Indiana State Police post in Jasper."Even with its tires blown out, the car still manage to travel five miles further down the road "Can't stop them Vibes

It's evil like that, it won't go away, I can't make it go away, I often wonder if I will ever be able to get rid of it. It would come back to me with bullet holes all over, busted windows, no rubber left on the tires, no radio, etc... But hey, the cops got my car back for me! heh

Yeah, insurance fraud is always a better option than getting shafted on trade-in. Sorry guys, nope, you're not on to me, I'd rather just go trade. I bet I could get a sweet deal, like $600/month on a Kia Rio, continue to have insurance, and continue to have no criminal record.
