Plastic wheel covers (or whatever they are called) starting to wear

Post by Fredrick_NP »

The silver is coming off and is showing some ugly yellowish plastic. Is there a place to where you can order these? And if you can how much do thy cost? http://www.anothersaab.com/albums/vibe/aaa.jpg That is the style of wheel covers I have.(nvm)

I think that you will find that the price for them will be very expensive. Probably have to go to the dealer, or GMPARTSDIRECT.COM or E-bay. You may want to try spray painting them 1st.

Yeah you can also get a nicer color... or do chrome! LOLThere are lots of colors and all you need to do is sand them and primer, then paint. My old rims i painted a metallic blue and they came out really good.just my $0.02

I just had 2 replaced under warranty. They are dirt cheap on Ebay. Like $10.00 max., don't buy them at the dealer.
