High Rev's at Idle

Hi,I've had my vibe (Manual Transmission) for about a month, and have been noticing something strange over the last couple weeks.When I start it up in the morning it is idling at close to 2000 rpm's and stays that way for at least seven minutes if I don't drive it.Is this normal?I took it to the dealer, and they claim to have put a scope on it and is running to factory spec's - so I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this

My GT idles at 1500 to 1700 first thing in the morning. Once it warms up a little it calms down. I've also noticed that running the defroster or AC will cause the engine to idle faster. I've accepted this as normal since it's done it as long as I've owned it.
