the "official" word came out today at work. Pontiac is adding a small, sporty model to its lineup this fall for the 2007 model year. The Pontiac G5 will be an entry-level vehicle designed to attract value-oriented customers to the Pontiac brand. It will be built off the Chevy Cobalt platform at GM's Lordstown Assembly Complex in Ohio. The Cobalt has been used as the basis for the Pontiac Pursuit, which up until now has only been sold in Canada. Starting next month, the Pursuit will also carry the G5 name in anticipation of the U.S. arrival later this year.At the end of the 2006 model year, Pontiac will end production of the Montana SV6 crossover sport vehicle in the United States. The Buick Terraza will be the crossover sport vehicle available through the Buick-Pontiac-GMC channel in the U.S
there was a cobalt and a pursuit parked next to eachother at the avis rental place a few weeks back...so it was easy to stand between them and compare interiors....nothing special. i prefer the vibe interior....
I have signatures turned off so I'm not even sure what mine says in this space!
