I just had my car washed and came home, its very nice outside and my car didn't get dirty again like during the winter... I noticed something odd. The front grille's silver lining had a crack.. From far apart, it looks like Pontiac used some cheap foil around the grill, but up close, it looks like the plastic just cracked apart.. I have a 5 year warranty, should I take this in to the dealer and have them fix it/replace it because it wasn't my fault? It seems obvious nothing hit it or anything, I don't know what could've caused it happen asides from the rapid hot/cold weather that's been happening lately.. anyone have this problem?

i have a 04 so i dont have the silver outline stuff on the grill but i agree with scherry2, bring it to the dealer. they might try to say its wear and tear though....
when my cladding was popped off the passanger door they repaired it. I read the warranty before i brought it in. I feel it shold be covered as it was a crack from workmenship / quality of the trim. Just bring it to a good dealer.
