What kind of shifter knob???

Post by Mrizzle05 »

Hey guys i was just wondering what kind of shifter knobs some of you have... i was at the local autozone and saw a silver one with 5 lights at the top that turned blue when you press the middle of the shifter down... it looked kinda cool and was like 25 bucks. i dont want a really expensive MOMO one... although there really nice. Thanks

I'm kind of partial to the oldskool Hurst T-shift handle... grip it and rip it.But then again, I had 320 horses feeding a Tremec... and no, it wasn't in my vibe I wonder if these would fit on our shifters - I'm not quite sure the thread size, and I'm too lazy to search.

i saw some pistol grip shifters on some cars at the auto show but they are all manual cars. Have you guys ever seen a auto shifter with o/d button on it?

The Hurst knob will probably not fit our sticks because it's more than likely a metric thread and Hursts only come with SAE thread parts.Nothing a tap won't fix though...I ran into the same problem on the transfer case shifter on my truck but I fixed that.
