Me, firewall behind the glove box. There is a rubber grommit coming through the firewall already there with some other crap coming through. It is an oversized grommit too, so making a hole and using it works very well.

thanx,Any pics on were the glove box firewall is?And were did you run the speaker wire from the back of the stereo to the amp? Im just confused at were these cords get from the fire wall to the back of the head unit? Is there a hole close to the floor were the wires can be fead up to the head unit? The reason is...I am debating on wether getting the monsoon system in my next vibe or putting new head unit in and a Bazzoka amp and tube in...the way i look at it is that the cost will be almost the same and the Bazzoka tube will sound SO much betta!Monsoon- around 100 bucksAUX input from factory- around 400 bucks=500 bucksHead unit-120 bucksBazzoka Amp and Tube-120 bucksAmp wire and speaker wire-60 bucks=300 bucks200 dollars less and a better system
Uder the shifter console... theres a nice amount of space to run the RCA's and remote wire... i just did that with my pioneer... gotta run the power and ground tonight too... I was gonna look on the driver side for a spot to run the cords! Well I guess were still waiting for a pic then

If u could get a pic that would be great. So theres an actuall "hole" or do u pull the plastic away? And when you take the stereo out is it easy to thread the wire from the floor to the head unit?ANd is the firewall under the glove box or do you have to open it up?
Ill post up when i can... hopefully tonight! as far as the hole for the wires near the dash... i look at that tonight. I wanna run it on the other side but ill look and post pics tonight for sure.

Like some others mentioned, I also used the grommet that is right above the pedals. I used a screw driver to puncture a hole for the wire to feed through. This gives the power lead a close, direct connection to the battery.
