Noise in the engine.

Post by dallarosaj »

I replaced my stock header for a DC Sport one and now I have a sweeking noise where the header bolts into the cat, has anyone ran into this problem if so how did you stop the noise. I do not know if its the bolts or the gasket. Please let me know.

Have you tried re-tightening the bolts?

Did the headers come with a gasket for the CC, and if so is it positioned correctly?

It could also be that the spring bolts haven't settled yet. But yeah, tighten them a little more and give it a good shake to help them settle in place.
