Headlight overlay

Post by CFD911 »

I was wondering, has anyone got those headlight reflector overlays? If so....how easy are they to put on?is it worth the money? And for those in Canada specifically Ontario ARE THEY LEGAL???I am pretty sure they are not legal due to the fact that your signal must flash to the side of the car in the front and not just ahead of you!!!!

I've had mine in Indiana for a few years now no problem. they went on easy just remember its a compound curve so take your time. I even talked to the local police about it and they said no problem, but it a small town.

They are not legal. Your car must have an amber sidemarker to conform to the law.- RyanGrafxWerks

What about a light or dark smoke overlay? Do those block too much light to still meet the reflector requirement? I like the look, but don't want to risk a ticket because of something stupid.

Forget the law....go with something custom...Take mine for example! I made these myself with some adhesive backed red vynal and the reflector is still in working order. Personally I think these look a lot better than the typical side-marker overlay.
