New Jersey...the forgotten state?

Post by vibedrvr04 »

I'm just putting this up here as a reminder....WE'RE STILL HERE YA KNOW!! It just seems to me that Jersey get's like no attention....oh well....if y'all would do somethin within the few states around here (lower NY, eastern PA, DE, or for cryin out loud NEW JERSEY) i'd deffinately go...my job is too unpredictible to take a week or so off to do a meet in Ohio or Michigan..(as much as i'd like to) If anyone has any plans for this neck of the woods....by all means, lemme know! Or if someone local gets bored and wants to talk Vibes, by all means, gimme a buzz!

Unfortunatly, both my attempts to get a meet going this year fell into the crapper. My work schedule is too demanding, and organizing a meet is pretty intensive, contrary to what many may think.Maybe I'll try again in the fall.I'm all for an informal chicken and booze kinda mini meet at a restaurant somewhere, sometime (or screw the booze and go straight to mastoris for cheese bread and cinnamon bread! )Anyone else?

It's not that we have forget about NJ.Were trying to avoid the green glow you get when you visit there. The glow makes it very hard to sleep at night.I'm just kidding! lolThat is the only state I have ever been in that Warning Placards on Buildings. It's kind of scary the first time you see it.

i've never seen any of those on buildings, only on trucks, and last i checked, that's a federal DOT thing, not a state thing.

NJ has been doing this as far back as 1990.That was the first time I went there and noticed them. But it is mentioned in this link, it has to do with your state building code.http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2...1.HTMHowever I do think it's a good thing, it could save lives during fires.

And there's more to NJ than just toxins, they have that one 'JOISEY STATE POLICE DO YOU KNOW WHY YOU'RE BEIN' STOPPED?' jacknad that I met after being in that friggin' state for all of five minutes earlier this year toooooo!!! lol I can't ever forget about that!j/k folks, NJ was an experience, to say the least. Some parts were kinda neat! But I'll stay in my humble midwestern state, where there is so much less going on.

I am moving back to NJ next week(Bergen county). The military kept me from home far to long. God... I miss NJ, I guess you just have to be from there to understand...
