New here

Post by Wreck »

Just replaced my 10 year old GMC Jimmy with an 03 Pontiac Vibe GT with 40K miles. This thing seems like a racecar after driving the SUV for so long and I smile everytime I fill up, even though I have to use premium gas now. I was shopping for a Toyota Matrix but got hooked on the Pontiac (it seems bigger...maybe it's the roof rack). So what if the wife says it's ugly...I love this car!!!

It'll grow on her. To be honest I originally wasn't so thrilled with mine. When I bought it 3 years ago I had a specific list of criteria I wanted in a car and the Vibe was a perfect fit, and the GT made it more fun!I've had a lot of fun driving it, and I do miss it but hopefully I will be reunited with it in a few months.Quote, originally posted by Wreck »Just replaced my 10 year old GMC Jimmy with an 03 Pontiac Vibe GT with 40K miles. Welcome to GenVibe!I'm curious: if you wife thinks the Vibe is ugly, what kind of car does she think looks nice? And, what is she currently driving now?The Vibe can't be uglier than the Matrix, that's for sure.
