Water in Doors

Has anyone else had problems with water in the doors. My rear factory speaker went out, so I went to replace them with some good aftermarket speakers. And when I pulled off the door panels, the doors were soaked with water, and the speakers were also wet. So I took the car to the dearler, and he told me it was designed to have water go down through the door, and drain out the bottom. ALL DOORS HAVE DRAINS AT THE BOTTOM !! Has anyone else even checked ? It only takes about 2 minutes to see.

Yes, there should be drains in every door. If there wasn't, they would fill up with water. Water easily enters the doors in hard rain and car washes for example. The real problem occurs when these drain holes get plugged. There should be a plastic liner around the speakers to protect them from moisture.
