I've been looking for a new rear bumper for over a year. Last night I found one on ebay for $50. Further down the list was a 'used' bumper for like $175. The pic of it showed it all scratched to heck.I needed to replace mine cause I was backing up in a dark parking lot and with the help of the huge blind spot we have, hit a no parking sign. Hit it just enough to make a indentation just above the back-up light. Oh, that happend about 10 months after buying the car. Then last year I was backing out of my drive-way and forgot that my wife parked her car behind me. Scraped up the pass side of the bumper and just a little of the rear fender. Totally broke her blinker housing and put a nice dent in her front driver side fender. Hehe!I thought long and hard over getting one of the available body kit bumpers, but I'm not really impressed with any of them. And I found this new one so now I can modify and paint it and use the old one for winter.

(removed)...the spray paint is starting to chip off the corners and the bumper I have turns out to be from a neptune VIbe so if you've got a neptune and you want a primed rear bumper I'll sell you it once I find a two tone for myself...BTW Lancer you might as well smash this bumper up while it's damaged to get it out of your system (removed). First time mine got screwed up was when I was backin out of parking spot and low rider didnt wanna wait in line so he also floored it in reverse and punctured a hole above the reverse light like where your dent is.After that, I got clipped about 3 times in school parking lot, and then got hit by the firehydrant which took out my left rear quarter panel when I finally got the whole bumper replaced. The body shop owner said he couldnt find a two toned bumper so he insisted he could paint an already painted bumper grey to match my cladding....never did do it and now im stuck with an obviously spray painted grey bumper that is waaay darker then the rest of the cladding
I'm searching too...Last summer,i was backing at my parking lot at my work at night, when i hit something... i walk to see what i hit...you know what...i'm little ashamed to say.I hit the sigh where indicate that i was the employe of the month that this spot of the parking lot was reserved for me.
I first whent to the 'junk yard'. The guy said he just sold the 2 he had but jus t wait a month and he'll have more. But he was asking for like $300 for one. Then checked out the local body shops. One guy said he could make it a lot better, but not good as new. He wanted to try hot air guns and irons to re mold it.I've just been checking e-bay like twice a week for one for the past 2 months. Finally found this deal and couldn't resist.

What ever they say there is NO WAY to match the grey cladding...don't even let them try to tell you they know a "trick" I got screwed out of $350 for a bumper that's spray painted. My friend an dhis dad rebuild wrecked cars and they said there is nothing you can do to match it and I trust them with my car. I should hav ehad them fix my car...my clear coat is starting to peel where he repainted it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
