LED replacement for external lights?

has anyone swapped their external bulbs with LED's yet? If so how did it turn out? Anything we should know before starting? Any recommendations?I replaced the turn signals, and brake lights with Varad LED's on my old saturn, and damn they were bright! I am thinking of doing the same thing to the vibe because,........well I'm running out of ideas of things to do to it that are not expensive.

The only LED's I've added to the outside were white 194 drop-in replacements for the license plate lights... They're pretty dim and really looks like the license plate lights are out most of the time. lol! I've had them in for a while now, they aren't bright but I like the color. I'd like to find a way to get my hands on a white LED license plate light assembly like you see on the semi trailers and try to make it work here, those are bright as hell... I notice there's some new Lexus with white LED license plate lights from the factory, cool.For the other lights, I know a few have tried with the tail lights for instance, but they were pretty dim to the point where it was probably dangerous.
