I was driving home tonight - about 8pm, chance of rain, but I had my sun roof open and monsoon cranked, it was the first day we've hit 60F, so I was glad to be out.I was driving down a back road on my way home and all of the suden I get hit with a snowball... I was like "(removed)?" Who would be throwing a snowball at me?!Then another hit my windshield, then two more... then it occured to me that I'm getting pounded with golfball/baseball sized hail that was melting enough before it hits my car to not leave a dent.Luckily I'm driving towards an overpass... and wait for it let up. It turns into solid pea sized hail and covers the ground.Damn mother nature... she's got it in for my car.
Got pounded in my S-10 once. I tried to park under an overpass but was sticking out a bit and got hit by a few good-sized hail. Left a couple dents from it too!
