Ive seen many shows (unique wips) that put the tint on the exterior of the window. i thought that it would be easly damaged that way? Can you put it on the interior of the car or do many people prefer it on the exterior?
I'm pretty sure that it ALWAYS goes on the inside. The reason why they put it on the outside it to measure it first. They can cut it to length a lot easier that way. When they did my tint that is exactly what they did.My old college roommate, back in the day when he was a young punk, put it on the outside. He said that it didn't last a season before it started to peel and look like garbage due to the elements.Word to the wise......."Keep it on the inside."

applies on the inside. there is spray that they make to put o the outside that we used to use at a shop I worked at. Stuff is expensive and permanent but worth it. that is the only exterior kind i ever saw. I love my tint.

Hi Josh,Yeah, I've noticed that as well on that show but as someone said, I think it was just being "fit" to the window on the outside and then finally placed/installed on the inside. Dave
