Just tinted over the yellow.I would have gone a little darker, but wanted to stay safe. The blinkers still look nice at night i'll take some pictures of it sometime. Here's a before shot from the last set of pictures I have. It's not the best before shot but it's all I haveIf someone has a close up of the taillights please post it.
Nice look. Why'd yoyu only get the yellow? (It might be legality- I'm really not in tune with these sorts of things)Also, what'd you use to do the tint and how did you install? I've been dying to pick up a set of the black/smoke headlight covers, but haven't found any good way to handle the tails...
I didn't want it to stand out too much, just wanted something a little different. Plus the yellow didn't flow with the car at all, and wanted to keep the red because the car is red.The stuff I used is Nite Shades ( http://store.summitracing.com/...h.asp ) and some clear coat paint from Walmart.I'm not a fan of the covers.. they stick on, fall off, and people like to pocket them. They can look good though. It would be interesting to see a set all blacked out. The majority of my time was spent masking off the red parts, so doing all black would go by pretty fast.
I think it looks good with the car... i wanna do smoke for my car... but mine is platinum so its not so bad with a yellow blinker. Also how did you add like 3 pics onto your post... i need to learn how to do that???thanks

Thanks. I think black on platinum would look good, or even better black on black hah.The best thing to do is find a host, or image host, like: http://photobucket.com/, setup your account, upload your pictures, and link them in your post using the "[img]" command they give you after you upload each image.Using the img tag will post the image into the post like I've done.
Yeah ive used photobucket... just wasnt sure it would work on here.I think id go all black on the vibe soon... im tryin to get the CAI for mine first though

Yep. Same thing I'm using.Make sure you post some pictures, I want to see some other tint jobs on different colors.I really wanted to get a CAI, but it's my fiancee' car. Ended up going with a K&N drop in, and I'm pretty happy with it.From what I've read the CAI sounds pretty good, and looks even better.
Can't remove it, it's a spray on tint, just like spray paint. The vinyl overlays look great, and I ran into a post with the red ones after I paid for the Nite Shades spray, so I just ended up going with this, been wanting to do it for a few months now.Does he make black or just red?I'll get some pictures in the dark sometime soon.
By the way. Does anyone know if the exhaust (3rd picture) on our Vibe is stock? It came like this, we got it used, and it's really larger then any other Vibes exhaust i've ran into around town.
its an option... but some have it added on @ the lots.My girlfriends looking into one and it had the exhaust on it already! How does it sound... i havent heard the difference between them

I think it sounds good for the little power this motor makes... but really have nothing to compare it to. Haven't had the chance to hear a stock Vibe up close.
I didn't grab pictures but it's pretty easy.1. Remove the storage compartment doors.-This will give you access to change bulbs and remove the tail lights2. Remove both bulbs.-Just turn to the left, they'll come lose, then remove from the socket.3. Remove the 3 lug nuts.-The wiring harness will be attached to 3 different points, two of them you'll need to remove a white clip. -Maybe I did it the hard way, but kind of pull and twist and they'll slide off.-After the clips are removed you will have access to all three of the nuts, one is located at the top, one towards the outside of the car, and one at the bottom.-You will need a 10mm. I used a socket on the top and side one, and a wrench for the lower one because it was hard to get at with the socket I had here.4. Remove the tail lights.-Being very careful rock the tail light a little bit and it will come lose.-They'll probably feel stuck at this point. Pushing outwards on the bottom rod (same one the lug nut was connected to) from within the car and rocking the tail light from the outside of the car will make things easier. If you still need pictures on something, let me know and i'll try to get some.I'm not sure if you were looking for a step by step on this, but I posted one because I had a hard time finding one before I did it.A few things would have saved me a little time.
