Well, if that's doesn't cover it...Very nice work there Silver. Sorry to hear you're sending the Vibe back on its way. Not that I would expect that you would have bought the lease out. Whatever the new vehicle is, I hope we can count on plenty of photos!

Except her's is the 2004 Fusion Aztek Rally. It has one of the best interiors I have been in and when your inside you don't have to see the exterior. Also, we don't have to worry about anyone ever stealing it!

I've seen a few Torrents on the road...and I really like it...if it weren't for the underpowered fuel guzzling 3400 in there, I seriously would have considered one...Nice choice my friend!

A most excellent choice! I've never been a fan of SUV's, but somehow that Torrent became one that I didn't mind driving back when I had it as a loaner for a week. I didn't want to give it back! You'll enjoy it. The Torrent's build quality and materials used are very good, the interior is comfy and spacious with plenty of places to store things, and the driving experience isn't too shabby either. And it's surprisingly quiet inside. It has my seal of approval, I couldn't find much to complain about and that says a lot about the product since at times it seems impossible to please me.

Please get the extended warranty the 3400 motor has been nothing but trouble for my wife's Aztek as well as other Aztek/Grand Am/ base Impala owners. I Don't post much but i lurk every day. I didn't want someone to run into trouble like i did. Manifold gasket is bad, it had a defect as well as the head gasket. I have seen tsbs for it all over the internet. Good luck with the torrent though it looks like a nice car.

The 3100 I had in my old Malibu which this 3400 was derived from ate up a couple intake manifold gaskets in its day, that seemed common too with that engine. But maybe they won't be so bad now, hopefully some new designs or materials found their way into the Torrent/Equinox engines...

After being behind the wheel of the Vibe for so long, the Torrent felt like a speed demon. Especially when pulling away from the lights, I had forgotten what having an engine that actually put out power at lower speeds was like. lol!

I agree. I only got 160k miles on my 3.4 prior to the headgasket problem. Additionally, I had to change the water pump around 125k miles.

People only look at the 185HP engine. But this engine has 220lb of torque, what takes this car 0-60 under 9 seconds with an automatic tranny. Lets see, the base vibe with a manual tranny can do it in 9.5 seconds. So let see which car is underpowered. Anyway, I liked my Vibe, it was a great car. The most thing I am going to miss is the great milage. But the Torrent's comfi quiet ride, very generous interior size and all the extras make up for the not to good milage. So here are a couple of pictures(sorry for the big size):
