Hello all!I just got back from my vacation to Costa Rica. Had a wonderful time down there. I'm relly swamped at work trying to catch up on deals. I will be popping in from time to time but until I can catch up at work I'll be here quite a bit less for the next few days. I hope that everyone has been safe. Talk to you all soon.Shadow Realm

Welcome back! Hope you had a good time. Now it's time to get back to the old rat race at work huh? The only bad part about a vacation is coming back to work.

Thanks for the warm replies! We flew into Costa Rica on Monday the 10th. Spent the night there until the bus came to pick us up and take us to the port where the dive boat was docked. It took 36 hours to get to Coco's Island, which is 400 miles off the coast of Costa Rica. Cocos,s Island is the largest non-inhabited tropical isalnd in the world and is looked after by the Costa Rican government. It is one of there national parks and they only let 850 people a year visit there. We stayed on the boat for 10 days. Each day we did four dives. In total we did 26 dives in all because there wasn't a night dive on the last two days.We dove with Whitetip, Blacktip, silky, and hammerhead sharks. There were so many different types of fish that I won't name them all but it sure was amazing. We took three outings to the Island and it was so beautiful. We walked up a stream to the base of the waterfall and swam in the pool at its base. The waterfall was about 40 stories tall and was quite a sight. The next outing was to the top of the mountain which was about 900 meters tall...You could amost see the whole Island from there. When we were done diving we headed back to the mainland and again it was a 36 hour haul. Got to the airport on Friday the 21st and flew back home. Oh yeah...I took about 650 pictures while I was there...Do you think that was OVERKILLI could go on and on about the trip but my fingers are getting tired now. i tried to send some warm weather back but I guess it didn't reach all of you...Oh well!Shadow Realm

We are planning another trip in 2004. It will be for experienced divers and we will be going to the Red Sea in Egypt. If you fit the criterium then IM me for dates But seriously, It was a very expensive trip...$5000 US per person and it took me a year to pay for it. it was definately worth every penny though and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks for all the welcomes....I really appreciate them! Thanks againShadow
